Testimonies of Thanksgiving in Mongolia
Barb, now the International Leadership Developer for Mongolia, returned to the capital city of Ulaanbaatar this year for her third Moms in Prayer conference. The weekend started with a leader’s training session where 22 women gathered. As they closed their time in prayer, the ladies passionately poured out their hearts to the Lord, asking Him to bless the conference. And He answered…
280 women from 59 different churches came from both the capital city and countryside areas.
34 of these churches heard about Moms in Prayer for the first time.
The Mongolian Booklet was delivered the day of the event and placed in the hands of hundreds of women!
More than 53 women stepped up to say they are interested in leading a group.
At the conference, women shouted in victory as they held up their Moms in Prayer bookmarks in the shape of a sword. It was a meaningful keepsake to remind them that Jesus is the Victor and that praying the Word of God is powerful and effective.
This is my second year being a part of a Moms in Prayer group. Before this I prayed, however, it was not until I learned the Four Steps of Prayer and praying scripturally that I witnessed amazing answers to prayers for my children and everything else around them. I want to thank Moms in Prayer for all the hard work you are doing because you are making a difference in not only many moms lives but in hundreds of children’s lives as well.
Thank you God that you have given us the strength to start a Moms in Prayer group and that we are able to pray and encourage one another.
Since our church has been praying regularly I have seen change, a difference and a revival. I thank you that there is healing within our church that is happening. Thank you that more children are coming to church, obeying their parents and respecting them.
Our prayer group is so thankful for this ministry that allows us to come together and grow together. May every nation be connected through prayer. May God’s blessings be evident in us. We are growing deeper in our faith walk through prayer. This group is so encouraging and important to me.
Thank you for everything you allowed me to understand and thank you for your words. I am so
grateful for all the leaders here and everyone who helped translate the booklet we have today. Thank you for gathering all these women together and teaching us how to pray.
I am so thankful for you my Lord, my God. You knew I was always worried for my children so you faithfully brought me to this conference so that I would learn new things and be equipped. I am thankful that I know your will and your love for me.
We are excited to announce that God has called two area coordinators for Mongolia: Ouynaa for Ulaanbaatar (capital city) and Bagi for the Countryside area. Both of these women helped prepare for the conference and have been praying for leaders, training groups and helping to establish new groups.
• that God will encourage, strengthen, protect and pour out His wisdom upon the new area coordinators, Ouynaa and Bagi, as they continue to lead Moms in Prayer in Mongolia.
• that every woman who attended the conference will get connected to a group and every new leader will be encouraged with at least one other mom to join her.
• for accuracy in the editing of the Mongolian Booklet and Leader’s Guide and that God will use these as mighty tools for His Kingdom in Mongolia!
Sing to the LORD; praise his name. Each day proclaim the good news that he saves. Publish his glorious deeds among the nations. Tell everyone about the amazing things he does. Psalm 96:2-3 (NLT)
