Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done. Psalm 105:1

Oh what a joy to announce to you the answer of much prayer! The Heartland region now has a Regional Director! Welcome Gayle Hadden, as she steps up from Kansas State Coordinator to shepherd the Heartland Region. She begins July 9 and appreciates your continued prayer.

A Note from Gayle Hadden, Heartland Regional Director

Moms in Prayer has been a lifeline and a rock in my life since I first discovered it twenty years ago. What a blessing it has been to our family! As the mom to three adult children and two (really cute) grandchildren, I get to be part of a college/career group, continuing to lay the foundation of prayer for the next generation.

I’m humbled and joyful to get the privilege and gift from the Lord to help women in the Heartland do what God is already calling them to do—pray!  My dear husband of 35 years, Terry, and I have lived in Minnesota, Nebraska, Missouri, and now reside in Wichita, Kansas.  My heart is already well imbedded in the Heartland states and culture. I can’t wait to see what God wants to do in our midst.

I’m coveting your prayers as I begin this adventure with the Lord overseeing the Heartland Region. Ephesians 3:7-8 says He gives the gift of grace and power when He calls people into servant leadership positions. “I became a servant of this gospel by the gift of God’s grace given me through the working of His power …”  It’s not about what you or I have to bring, but rather what the power of God wants to do in the Heartland through His grace to us. His grace to hear our prayers for children and schools, and His power to accomplish His will. What a God we serve!

Knowing He’s got me by my right hand,

Gayle Hadden
