Thanksgiving:
• For the opportunity to travel to several villages and teach mothers how to pray for their children and schools
• For the upcoming retreat in June and that we are expecting 400 mothers to attend
Prayer Requests:
• That God will help mothers in Tanzania balance the many hours it takes to care for their families with taking the time to pray with other moms
• For protection and preparation of the retreat in June and that many mothers will join or start groups as a result
Country Facts:
Shortly after achieving independence from Britain in the early 1960s, Tanganyika and Zanzibar merged to form the nation of Tanzania in 1964. It is located in East Africa and composed of 26 regions with over 42 million people. Swahili is the official language. Tanzania is home to the highest mountain in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro.
