 Many times God is working on a much larger plan than we can fathom. It all started when Vivian, a Cameroonian immigrant now living in Ohio, connected with Diane, a Moms in Prayer group leader. Soon Vivian was praying with this greater Cleveland area group.
Vivian just loved the Four Steps of Prayer format and cherished the time with the other women. This prayer time had such an impact on her that when she returned to Cameroon to visit her sister-in-law Juliet, she couldn’t help but share Moms in Prayer with her. Soon Juliet started a group and was excited to gather with other mothers to pray for the children and schools in Limbe.
“This connection ended up being a catalyst for us to give to Moms in Prayer more willingly than before,” confirmed Diane. As her group continued to pray for Cameroon, the Holy Spirit prompted them to donate to Moms in Prayer in order to send French Booklets to Juliet’s group. These Booklets would be key in helping them get started and a great tool for the women to pray powerfully using Scripture. The women in Cameroon were touched by this donation and asked Diane and her group to “pray that the women will see transformation in their lives through  prayer time and will be a testimony in their churches and homes so that God uses this to draw many to this vision.”
In another area of Cameroon, Christiane heard about Moms in Prayer two years prior through a friend living in Switzerland. This friend invited her to a 2011 Moms in Prayer regional conference in Yverdon and while there, the Lord gave Christiane a burden of prayer for her country. She also met Swiss Country Coordinator Cornelia and her team who prayed that God would give Christiane a vision to start Moms in Prayer back home in Douala. She returned to Cameroon and shared Moms in Prayer with the women in her church. This year, she gathered women from several different churches to learn about the Four Steps of Prayer. Christiane says thankfully, “by God’s grace groups have grown from 7 to 15 and we are covering 60 schools in prayer.”
As the Lord prompts mothers to reach out across the world to help other moms learn about Moms in Prayer, we discover that He wants to do so much more in each group than we could ever imagine! Join us in His marvelous plan to transform moms, children, teachers and schools in other countries by praying for these groups, encouraging and connecting with moms around the world and donating Booklets.
