Michelle Kvandal traveled to Argentina to share Madres Unidas Para Orar (Moms in Prayer) at two churches in the northern cities of Rafaela and La Banda. Over 40 women attended the Rafaela event and 67 were at the La Banda presentation. Women learned the Four Steps of Prayer and received Booklets and prayer cards.
Several groups have already begun. At one of the preschools, the teachers started a group where they pray for each of the students, asking God to care for each child and demonstrate His precious love to them. In Rafaela, 12 moms came to the first prayer time at Iglesia Jesucristo Mi Esperanza. The pouring rain made it challenging for many women to leave their homes, but they persevered. These mothers believe that God moves through prayer so they are also asking the Lord to bring many more moms to pray for children and schools in their area.
In La Banda, several women at the Iglesia Cristina Evangelica have already formed Madres Unidas Para Orar groups. After reading Every Child Needs a Praying Mom, the pastor’s wife at the church is showing other moms how to address God in prayer in a unique and powerful way. She has formed a group specifically for moms whose children are rebellious, encouraging them to trust in the power of God, who is attentive to their cries and who delights in hearing their petitions.
Michelle was overjoyed to see how excited the Argentinean moms were to gather together to pray for their children and schools. These women desire revival in their country and know that it starts with prayer, so they are so eager to begin these prayer groups with other moms and see God’s faithfulness working powerfully in their churches and communities.
And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive. Matthew 21:22 (NKJV)
