• For the five Moms in Prayer trainings in different districts
• For the the opportunity to launch Moms in Prayer in Lira
Prayer Requests:
• For the training in Kampala to result in new groups
• That God will give strength and wisdom to each area coordinator and contact person, to help them
share the ministry, train mothers and start new groups
• For God's protection as Jessica and her team travel
• For many moms to attend the training in Lira
Country Facts:
Uganda is a landlocked country of over 35 million people in East Africa with a predominantly rural population. The capital and largest city is Kampala with 1.5 million people. English, Lugandan and Swahili are the primary languages spoken. Much of the country includes plateaus, with grassland and tropical forest dominating the central region and volcanic hills in the east. The Nile River runs through Uganda together with four large lakes, Kyoga, Albert, Edward and the second largest lake in the world, Lake Victoria. Uganda is home to half of the world’s gorillas, the most impressive being the mountain gorilla.
